Focus on Goodness
Deep Appreciation Day
May 25th, 2010Appreciation is the deepest way of receiving. What are you grateful for?
Keep an intention of gratitude today.
Don't Be Normal
April 27th, 2010You, like the rest of us, have difficulties facing you most days of your life. And focusing on these troubles and worries is normal.
Today, don't be normal. Focus on the good things you have in your life, the air in your lungs, the clothes on your back, the opportunity to live.
Fight for this focus!
Energy of Compassion
April 9th, 2010Today is the energy of Compassion in Discipline; to truly listen is the key for compassion. Today all day really, really listen to others
We Remain Perfect Always
March 24th, 2010We can never damage our soul; it remains pure always. We can veil its light with negative actions; but we remain perfect always.
The Inner Point
February 19th, 2010The Inner Point
Friday, February 19
We are always going to find something wrong with the people we live and work with and especially those we love. Our job is to see past the false outer layers, and to penetrate into the heart of what is good about the person.
Today, don't judge a person by his external appearance. Search for that inner point.
Envy and jealousy are very dangerous
February 5th, 2010Envy and jealousy are very dangerous.
The zohar writes: "if a person runs after that which is not his, he can lose even that which is his."
Go Easy
October 4th, 2009We can all be too judgmental of what we think are our weaknesses. We lose power when we focus on ourselves. All we see is the bad stuff, and then we put so much energy into hiding. This drains us AND it stops others from getting close.
Tell yourself it’s OK today. Whatever it is, however messy. It’s OK. Things could always be worse, and will always get better. It’s OK.
Perfection Exists Within
February 11th, 2009All of us have at one point or another done something, or perhaps many things, of which we are not proud. In fact, we may even feel that because of our actions we have somehow damaged our soul, rendering us incapable of growing and maturing spiritually.
To this the Kabbalists say the soul can never be damaged; it can only be covered up.

The spark of soul inside every one of us is perfect and pure beyond words.

Learning to protect our blessings through seeing only the good in people and situations
Many of us have learned the spiritual importance of not judging people and situations, and seeing the good instead. Yet, many of us have difficulty acting this way.
